This is a great article on Asperger's. Although having personal experience with a few Asperger's kids I can't phathom why they have the need to dub it a "devastating neurological" disorder. Sort of makes it seem all that more dysfunctional. There are varying degrees of it, yes, but it is able to be dealt with. Really! I wouldn't shit you ! They are easier in most respects to have as children than neurotypical kids in that they THRIVE and BLOSSOM on routine. You can pretty much count on how they will react to situations and I don't know about anyone else, but that makes my life alot easier!! So, Devastating, No, I can't say that is the case for us!
